The Sindh government banned double riding of motorcycles on August
13 and 14 2021.
KARACHI:
The Sindh government has banned double riding of motorcycles on August 13 and
14 on the occasion of Independence Day.
According
to a notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, journalists, the
elderly, women, children under the age of 12 and law enforcement officials will
be ‘exempt’ from the ban.
The
Sindh Home Department decided to ban double riding of motorcycles at the
request of the Rangers. The Sindh Rangers had expressed fears of sabotage on
the occasion of Independence Day.
