Ertugrul Ghazi set a new record

The Number of Subscribers on the YouTube channel (TRT
Ertugrul by PTV) has crossed 10 million.

At the request of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Turkish
drama “Ertugrul Ghazi”, which was screened in Pakistan with Urdu
dubbing, set a new record of popularity on YouTube.

For this drama to be aired on Pakistan Television, the
management had created a separate YouTube channel named (TRT Ertugrul by PTV) now
the number of subscribers on this channel has crossed one crore.

Director TRT Digital Riyaad Minty in his tweet said that the
number of subscribers has crossed one crore and thanked all the fans of the
drama for started a new record of popularity.

Ertugrul Ghazi is being aired from the first of Ramadan on
April 25 this year, the second season of which is coming to an end and the
third season is starting soon.

The YouTube channel created in connection with this drama
was subscribed by 40,000 people on the first day and 1 million people within 15
days for 10 million subscribers in 7 months.

This award is also new for PTV in that Ertugrul has been
broadcast in different languages of the world, and the total number of
subscribers on YouTube channel created in these languages is one and a half
crore.

The first episode of “Ertugrul Ghazi” with Urdu
dubbing has been watched by 83 million people till now, while the average
number of views of each episode of both the seasons of this drama is taken out,
this number becomes about 5 million.

According to TRT, Ertugrul Ghazi has the highest number of
Urdu channel subscribers in the total subscribers which 66%. This Turkish drama
is most popular among those who speak and understand Urdu.

The drama airs on PTV 5 days a week from Wednesday to Sunday
at 8 pm.

It should be noted that the story of this drama called
“Game of Thrones” of Turkey dates back to before the establishment of
the Ottoman Empire in the 13th century. It shows a series of Islamic conquests.

Ertugrul Ghazi has been shown in 60 countries around the
world after being dubbed in different languages before being shown in Pakistan.

It is available on many online streaming channels, including
English subtitles in Turkish on Netflix.
