Along with this victory, Babar
and Rizwan also set a new world record and became the first pair to score more
than a thousand runs in a year in T20 cricket.

Babar scored 1,607 runs in 2019
and Kohli 1,614 runs in 2016, but Rizwan has broken both their records with a
79-run innings against Namibia.

Rizwan has scored 1,661 runs so
far this year and needs just five more runs to break Chris Gayle’s world record
of 1,665 in 2015.
