Latest News about Education in
Pakistan, due to Corona, schools will be open three days a week

The National Command and
Operations Center (NCOC) has extended the scope of application of Corona SOPs
to 27 cities.

A new statement issued by the
NCOC said that in view of the epidemic pressure, it has been decided to continue
the implementation of SOPs. Educational institutions across the country will be
open three days a week with 50% attendance.



According to the NCOC, the
decision to keep schools open three days a week in 27 cities, including
Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Khanewal, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab, Hyderabad and
Karachi in Sindh, Muzaffarabad in Azad Kashmir and The decision will apply in
Mirpur, GB in Gilgit and Skardu. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also includes 8 cities

Further Restrictions by the NCOC

Government and Private Offices

It has been directed to ensure
50% attendance in government and private offices.

Business Activities

Business activities Markets will
be closed 2 days a week while business activities will continue till 8 pm.
Markets, malls, businesses will be closed two days a week as decided by the
provinces.

Takeaway and Delivery

The NCOC has allowed the takeway
and delivery to be open 24 hours a day.

Indoor Dining and Outdoor Dining

The ban on indoor dining will
remain in place while outdoor dining will be available at 10 pm.

Indoor Weddings and Outdoor Weddings

Indoor weddings are banned while
outdoor weddings with 300 people will be allowed until 10 p.m.
