Netflix’s Popular Spanish Series “La
Casa de Papel” ‘Money Heist’ Season 5 Volume 2 says goodbye to the fans with full
of emotions
After four years of wild plans,
twists and lots of emotions, the phenomenon “La Casa de Papel” has come to an
end. La Casa de Papel ‘Money Heist’ Season 5 Volume 2 of the Spanish series
arrives this Friday (3) on Netflix, presenting to the public the outcome of one
of the most successful plots on the streaming platform.
The final five episodes show the
conclusion of the Spanish Central Bank robbery. After painful losses, the team
of the Professor (Álvaro Morte) plots a new strategy to remove the gold from
the place, while following the crosshairs of a bloody group of elite Spanish
army.
Emotional Farewell of ‘Money Heist’ Season 5 Volume 2
According to Álex Pina, creator
of the series, this is the most emotionally charged season. “We brought a lot
of emotional responses about the characters, which help to understand them
better. The sequels I like most from the entire series are in these last few
episodes,” said the showrunner, during a press conference held virtually.

About the production of new
volumes of the attraction, the producer was categorical in stating that this
possibility does not exist. According to him, the script leaves no room for
sequels. “Finishing now is a way to give fans what they deserve. We gave our
best,” said actor Álvaro Morte.
Despite the tragic fate of her
character in the first series of episodes this season, Úrsula Corberó will
still appear in the series. The actress revealed that she was happy with the
fiery Tokyo end of the plot. “I don’t know if I should say this, but I wanted
it to happen that way. We talked a lot about it. I think it’s very poetic when
she talks about having lived several lives,” she said.
From fiasco to success
La Casa de Papel “Money Heist”
followed an unlikely path. When it debuted, in 2017, on the Spanish network TV
Antena 3, its ratings were not the most encouraging and it ended up cancelling.
Even so, Netflix decided to bet on the production, buying its rights and
turning the initial episodes into two seasons. Before long, the attraction
became one of the most watched around the world.

It’s over, but it goes on

Heist’ Season 5 Volume 2 are out of the question for now, fans of the series
will not be orphans. That’s because, in the wake of the farewell, Netflix took
the opportunity to announce some news. One is from the spin-off “Berlin”,
focused on the thief played by Pedro Alonso, for 2023. The other is the
premiere, still in 2022, of a Korean version of the series, with the presence
of Park Hae-soo, star of “Round 6” in the cast.
