The Wheel of Time, the new Amazon
Prime Video series, recently arrived on the streaming platform and has already
started to break records. The production had the biggest debut of the catalog
in 2021 and this had a direct impact on the sales of the homonymous books that
give rise to the series.

O Olho do Mundo is the first book
in the saga The Wheel of Time, written by Robert Jordan, and was originally
released in 1990. With the arrival of the adaptation, new people have shown
interest in knowing the work, as Amazon itself also revealed.

The first book, having been
released so long ago, surprised by appearing on Amazon’s bestseller list during
the week. Olho do Mundo came in 5th place, displacing major current releases,
and points to the public’s interest in knowing better the original story that
gave rise to the series.

book 1 as the basis of the story, but future events are also added to give more
