Connection problems on the
computer
You must have a stable and
reliable connection on your computer to use WhatsApp Web or Desktop. If a
yellow box appears at the top of the chat list with the error message
“Computer offline,” check the computer’s Internet connection. In case
this connection works normally, but you still cannot send or receive messages,
update the page if you are using WhatsApp Web or close and restart the program
if you are using WhatsApp Desktop.
If the problem continues, try
logging out and logging in again on WhatsApp Web or Desktop. Check out this
article for more information on how to do it.
Wi-Fi connection problems
If you are using a controlled
Wi-Fi network, such as an office, library, or university, it may be configured
to block or limit your connection to WhatsApp Web. If you receive a
notification from WhatsApp Web that the Wi-Fi network is preventing WhatsApp
Web from working properly, we recommend that you configure the network to allow
traffic to “web.whatsapp.com”, “.web.WhatsApp.com “or”
.whatsapp.net “.
